The Kashmir Files is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language drama film, written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri. Produced by Zee Studios, the film showcases a fictional storyline set around the time of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits during the Kashmir insurgency, which it portrays as a genocide. It stars Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi and Mithun Chakraborty. The film was theatrically released on 11 March 2022.

The Kashmir Files: Spoiler free Story / Plot 

 

 The story starts with a JNU student, going by the name of Krishna Pandit who was told by his grandfather (Anupam Kher) that his parent died in an accident. But reality is cruel and different. He gets caught in two sides of opposite nature. One is Pallavi Joshi trying to get support on her cause, while the other one is Pushkar Nath (Anupam Kher) who is waiting for the justice for exodus of kashmiri pandits in 1990. Then the story goes on with two diffrent timelines. One with events of exodus in 1990 while the other one depicting events of current era as in 2020.
